Choosing the Correct Size

When calculating the liner required, do not use only the pond’s surface dimensions.

The liner must cover:

• The pond bottom
• Both side walls
• The full pond depth
• Additional material around the perimeter for anchoring

A simple guide is:

Required liner length = Pond length + (2 × depth) + anchoring allowance

Required liner width = Pond width + (2 × depth) + anchoring allowance

Always confirm the final measurements before cutting or ordering.

Ground Preparation
